Japanese Prints
For me, nature is a source of beauty, peace, and mystery. It reminds us of our own fragility through
its ephemeral nature, but also of our sources of vitality and resilience. The technique of Japanese printmaking
(woodblock printing) allows for this connection with the material and the pursuit of balance and harmony through its use of a limited color palette.
My prints, artist’s books, and fabric compositions are invitations to embark on a journey through nature, dance, and poetry.
