From Tessera to Tessera Mosaics are fascinating: thousands of tiny tesserae are laid side by side, arranged according to a predetermined pattern and organized by color.
In Montmaurin, an incredible collection of mosaics is on display: some can be seen in the chapel next to the villa de la Hillère, others are still on the site of the villa Lassalles, testifying to the splendor of the ancient inhabitants.
During the workshop, patiently create your own mosaic, tesserae by tesserae, for a result worthy of a Roman craftsman!
