The two musicians rearrange Italian songs for two voices, accordion,
guitar, and tamburello. For them, singing in Italian is above all a way to
connect with their family roots, but also to share their love for this
highly expressive and melodious language. They carefully select lyrics that convey the powerful
messages of a past they wish to pass on in turn. From
Franco-Italian songs to the songs of the Mondine, including traditional melodies from
Puglia and Sicily, the two musicians take us on a passionate journey through their
musical world.
