Pradel takes us back to an era when popular musicians at musette dances embraced new instruments while retaining their style, rhythm, and dances.
With Pradel, the accordion becomes the king of instruments, and the saxophone becomes its queen; and the duo, as the forerunners of the musette sound we know today, enjoys blending repertoires, moving from a bourrée to a mazurka, from a ronde to a paso.
It marks the return of the “j%E2se” aesthetic to the vast world of traditional music. Pradel serves as the keystone of a bridge that we cross all too rarely.
