Enjoy a unique experience on the calm waters of the Canal du Midi! Moored at the Port-Sud marina in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, the Escapade barge invites you to enjoy an unusual, romantic and comfortable stay just a stone's throw from Toulouse.
Convenient access by car via rue Émile Zola, with easy parking nearby (free public parking lot).
This barge, fitted out for 2 people, offers a warm and spacious interior (ceiling height between 1m75 along the outside walls and 1m95 in the center of the boat):
- a large, bright living room with sofa (possibility of extra sleeping on non-conventional mattress), pellet stove (pellets supplied)
- a fully-equipped kitchen for home-style meal preparation (no microwave),
- a double bedroom with private shower room,
- and a separate toilet for added comfort.
Reversible air-conditioning. Wifi Internet connection. No television.
In fine weather, you can enjoy the two terraces: on the foredeck, a straw hut and an eating area for aperitifs in the sun, and at the stern, garden furniture sheltered by a shade sail, ideal for relaxing after a walk.
Two bicycles are at your disposal, one of them electric, so you can pedal freely along the cycle path beside the canal.
Local ambience guaranteed: every Friday evening, a show barge brings the port to life with its performances. The famous Bikini concert hall is just 1.5 km away, and the Parc de Cinquante, the city's green lung, is within walking distance on the other side of the canal.

WITHOUT A CAR: from Toulouse train station: 12 min walk to metro line B ("Jean Jaures" stop) - get off at "Université Paul Sabatier" - take bus no. 82 and get off at the "Ramonville Port Sud" terminus - 2 min walk to the gîte (total journey time: 45 min).
