In the heart of the Haut-Garonne countryside, in a lovingly renovated former farmhouse, the gîte "En Magnet" welcomes you for a peaceful stay, between fields and woods, a stone's throw from Toulouse (25 km) and just 5 km from all amenities.
Situated on the edge of the small village of Castéra, this independent gîte enjoys a peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing with the family, or for business trips. You'll appreciate its private exterior: a large courtyard, a grassy area under a large walnut tree for siestas in the shade, a covered terrace for outdoor meals, and a barbecue available to enjoy the warm summer evenings.
Little extras: easy parking under a shed, 2 bikes available for exploring the surrounding area, outdoor games for young and old (table tennis). Pets not allowed.
Horse-riders welcome: enclosed meadow, horse boarding (15?/day ? consult owner), possibility of buying hay (6?/bale).
Several signposted hiking trails start from the gîte. Nearby, numerous activities await you: swimming pool, golf course and equestrian center 6 km away, Isle-Jourdain lake (9 km) for fishing and water sports. In short, the ideal location for relaxing in the countryside, yet close to Toulouse, MEETT and Blagnac airport (23 km).
The gîte is arranged over 2 levels. Ground floor: entrance, separate kitchen with dining area (wood-burning stove), living room with dining and sitting areas and staircase to first floor, 2 bedrooms (2 single beds 90x200cm) (1 double bed 160x200cm with shower and washbasin), bathroom with bath, shower, double washbasin and laundry area (washing machine and tumble dryer), separate WC. 2nd floor: library and reading/office area on mezzanine, 1 bedroom (1 double bed 140x200cm), shower room/WC. Heating and air-conditioning by ducted heat pump. Wifi Internet connection.
