Situated between the Comminges and Couserans regions, our gîte welcomes you to an exceptional natural environment, just 1 hour from Toulouse, Luchon, Val d'Aran (Spain) and Foix, and 30 minutes from Saint-Girons.
Gîte de Pomès, perfectly equipped to accommodate 5 people in an area of 52 m² and located at an altitude of 930 meters. On the outskirts of a small hamlet of 40 inhabitants, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, lies an old mountain sheepfold dating from 1825, totally renovated and refurbished. Positioned along the route des cols Pyrénéens, famous for the multiple routes of the Tour de France. You'll enjoy a spectacular view of the Paloumère massif.
First floor: fitted kitchen, living room with wood-burning stove, electric heating.
Second floor: one bedroom with a 140x190 bed, another bedroom with a 140x190 bed and a 90x190 bed. Electric heaters are installed in the bedrooms. Bathroom separate from toilet.
For travelers, the meeting point will be at La Chapelle de Pomés 31160 PORTET-D'ASPET, where I will pick up your suitcases and luggage with my 4x4. You'll have to walk the last 70 meters.
RENTAL INCLUDES: bed linen, towels and household linen, toilet paper, paper towels, new sponges and cleaning products. Firelighters and firewood for insert.
RENTAL DOES NOT INCLUDE: cleaning
Smoking is not permitted in the gîte (please smoke outside).
The cell phone network works properly. You can easily work on your computer using your cell phone's shared connection, thanks to the availability of 4G Internet.
