GITE AUX PLAISIRS DU CAGIRE
On the road to the Col du Portet d'Aspet, in the Pyrenees, the gîte "Aux Plaisirs du Cagire" is the ideal place to find calm and serenity in the heart of a green setting even in the middle of summer. You will discover in this Haut-Comminges, in the heart of the GER valley, in SENGOUAGNET, near ASPET, this village house, on 2 levels, in a hamlet of about fifteen buildings. This house of character (5 persons maximum) with all comfort has been renovated with care and will satisfy all the nature lovers. On the slopes of the Pic du Cagire in the hamlet of Laubague, the gite allows many outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, paragliding, skiing, snowshoeing,? directly from the gite for some) or the visit of many classified tourist places not far away.
An upper floor was built some forty years ago to make the house more comfortable, with 2 independent bedrooms and a shower room. We then completely renovated it to bring it up to current standards, only 6 years ago (electricity, plumbing, double glazing, etc.)
The Main Room: A large 30 m² room covering the entire ground floor
This entire room has been renovated, with all the beams exposed to retain the typical character of the local mountain house.

La Chambre CAGIRE: This 13 m² room overlooks the hamlet's central alleyway.
A 140 x 190 cm bed for 2 people,
a closet with plenty of storage space for clothes,
a decorative fireplace completes this room,
an umbrella bed is available in the wardrobe for small children (a second bed and a chair riser can be provided on request)
An iron and ironing board are also available in the closet.
Each bed is supplied complete with : A comforter and duvet cover, 2 pillows per person and pillow covers, and the bottom sheet
La chambre PALOUMÈRE: 12 m² room at the top of the stairs, with an east-facing view towards the GER valley and Paloumère peak.
One 140 x 200 cm bed for 2 people,
A 90 x 190 cm trundle bed for direct sleeping, plus additional sleeping space if required by pulling out a drawer,
A closet for storing your clothes.
Gîte shower room & toilet: At the top of the staircase leading to the first floor, a room has been converted into a shower room and toilet.
Outdoor spaces :
At the entrance to the hamlet, a public parking lot provides parking for vehicles and serves as an evening pétanque area for regulars. As the hamlet of LAUBAGUE is at the end of a dead-end road, this parking lot is often used as a children's play area (badmiton rackets and pétanque balls are available in the gîte cellar).
Below the gîte, a private lawn area has been laid out.
