FORET DE BUZET

Spread over the first 2 alluvial terraces of the River Tarn, this oak forest is the remnant of the forest that extended as far as the perched village of Montjoire in the Middle Ages. There are a number of routes through the forest on foot, horseback or mountain bike.
Following a decision by the prefect to regulate large game and prevent road accidents, access to the forest will be closed to the public on Thursday January 30, February 13, March 6 and March 27 from 7.30am to 12pm
